I am now in Minjok high school's camp. I am missing you a lot. Every time after the school or in school, I draw on you. Unfortunately I am in camp of here so I can't see you for a month. Sorry to left you in house, I am regretting it. Cause I have too many things to get, I just have to give you up.
In here, I made new friends, Isabella and Iris,kind and cute roommates. Grace, Ally, and Dorothy are next room same door friend in 704. So don't worry about me, now. I am drawing on any paper I got in my hand so I have to erase it back. I won't forget you and my drawing method cause I am practicing a lot in boring classes, so don't be so worried. Oh, I didn't tell you important thing! I got new many friends from class, Ally, Isabella, and Susan. Oh, Ally is both my next roommate and classmate. She is living with just studying. My classmates are so cool and kind so sometimes I feel they are better than roommates that sometimes just playing without me. They are my best of the best friends now. I am doing well on here so concentrate on your life at house!
If I ask you who is Kony , you would probably say you don't know him. He is an infamous criminal that is the worst criminal ever. Many people are fighting with him for global society's peace. Then how about Caine, the boy who made an arcade with boxes. Do you know him? This one is less known than Kony so you would probably have no idea about him. These people that I mentioned are infamous guys in the world that had influenced some of their belonging community. In this whole essay, I would contrast and compare about these two events, Kony 2012 and Caine's arcade.
Did you watch these videos? Then how did you feel about each of them? You might feel terrible about Kony because now you know that he kidnapped the children and forced them to kill their parents. Yes, he is a terrible guy. So the ' Invisible Children' is helping us to learn about Kony. They also made project name Kony 2012, didn't they? Then what did you feel about Caine's arcade? Seems he is a genius at making arcade. Maybe he is a genius that other children doesn't know. By his first customer, he became famous and many people started to enjoy his arcade. Now we can argue about their similarities and differences. I will mention similarities first and then differences. Both Caine and Kony became famous because of some people who had interest in them. Maybe these guys are who actually influenced the world. These guys used the internet. Also, it starts on one boy. Kony 2012 first mentions the boy name Jacob and in Caine's arcade,of course Caine is only the main character in this video so he mentions first. This is because they both have a problem for their life. Lastly, the first mentioned boys that had a problem become way better than from the harsh time. Now Jacob is living peacefully without awareness of Kony and Caine has many customers. Next, let's talk about differences that they have. First, Caine and Jacob had a problem, but actually,the problems that they each had were totally different. Jacob's brother had died with Hanga and he was almost surviving from Kony. In other hand, the problem that Caine has was not that serious as Jacob's. His problem was just no customer. Second, Kony 2012 can be influenced a lot in global society if he works globally but Caine's arcade has small influence in his country or city,just. People from different country with him doesn't want to go to another country to see his small arcade because it costs a lot of money to use an airplane. The influence of them are totally different. Lastly, the emotion in the video is different. In Kony 2012, Kony is real bad guy and treats children so badly in harsh conditions. The video strongly argues that he is a horrible man and we should help the people to know Kony better and save money for to save the children. Actually, Caine's arcade doesn't make us like that. It doesn't claim us to come and get some arcade, it's just a story about a brilliant kid who influenced his society to play his arcade. In this video, we can feel that he is a brilliant guy and wants to have a try on making his own arcade.
After looking at those video in the front page, you would think,'What is the similarity? There are only a lot of differences.' If you concentrate, however, you would find out what I am talking about and find some other similarities, too. After I watched this video, I felt the importance of communication on the internet. This can influence other people and create a big event like Kony 2012. So, I write this to show to others by using the Internet. These are the similarities and differences of Kony 2012 and Caine's arcade.
My favorite movie is Usual suspects. This movie was suggested by my father and it was surprisingly incredible. This story is like this;
One detective met disable man who knows about Kiten. The disable man started to tell him a story; By police's mistake Kiten and 4other men including the disable man had go to jail. After they got free, they began to get money together by menacing them with the gun. First time was successful but in second time the disable man killed one person so they can not be separated now. They should go the same way now, the strongest and most famous killer, Kaiser Soze, gave them a mission because he had a damage for his plan from them. The mission was to get a coak from the Hungarian boat. They can't find the coak and Kaiser Soze killed them but disable man had survived luckily. Detective man said Kiten was Kaiser Soze and disable didn't believe it, he pretended that he was afraid of Kaiser Soze. The detective man said that he will protect him if he stays at prison but the disable man refused. The detective man's friend, who had searched the Hungarian that has survived but damaged a lot, sent him a picture of Kaiser Soze that Hungarian man told him. Guess what? The picture of Kaiser Soze's face was same as the disable man's face...! The detective man was confused about the story that he had told him and found out that he was telling lie with looking at the notice board of police about Kaiser Soze and Kiten's story!! He ran to get the disable man, no Kaiser Soze but he has disappeared like what he expressed himself, " The real devil's characteristic is that just disappear without any clue like he was just an imaginary."
This movie's name is 'Usual suspect'. Now I know why it is usual suspect. In this movie, many people do each of their own suspect that can be usual or unusual. This mystery can't be solve with usual suspect! Maybe no one expected that the disable man was Kaiser Soze, the dreadful killer! So, this makes everyone to have usual suspect that doesn't think that he is Kaiser Soze. This is reason why the movie's name is 'Usual suspects'. The last 5minute of this movie show us about whole situation that is going on. The other ones are just imaginary story that Kaiser Soze made! This is unbelievable, shocking story!!
I like this movie the best because it has shocking reversal that makes people shocking and amazing. If you see this movie, you can't say it was boring at all. This movie makes everyone concentrated at the screen and shocking with amaze!
Today, we started the real classes in this camp. It seems to be challenging to speak English all the time except for math class, my friends said," It will be a good opportunity to learn good English, isn't it?" This made me feel better but I was not that close to English, maybe mathematics are closer. We had classes, history, math, and writing. The homework was a lot. Reading one whole thick book in one day and making a presentation about math. Tiredness came inside me and in writing class, brain ordered my eyes to close and go to sleep but eyes are afraid of yellow cards. I challenged well so my teacher thought I was concentrating well actually little but not a lot. Today I made my friend name Susan, she is kind and cute. We are in same presentation team and pop song research. I think I would be good relationship with Susan. Ally is my 704 roommate and also class 14 classmate. She always studies, so I am afraid of her~!!! She would maybe get the 1st in presentation~!!
My roommates who are kind, gentle, and cool are best friends in here. They have animal nicknames. Cat and hamster, who are the cutest. I wish to have good relationship with this guys for long time during this one month in the camp.
