Reflective Essay for Adora Svitak

       Have you ever feel that adults are ignoring you cause you are child? You might have experience, isn't it? I also had the experience for this. Just we are young small child, they are ignoring us. Why should we ignored by them just because we are too young? Even if we are children and tiny kids, adults don't have right to ignore to kids! There are one smart blogger that have claimed about this, by representing us, kids. Guess who? Her name is Adora Svitak, the 12 year old blogger that claimed for the rights for kids and the things that adults can learn from us. I would gonna introduce about her and tell you the experience of ignoring kids that I felt bad.



       This was Adora Svitak's speech about what adults can learn from kids. She claim that adults just think we are childish but she refuse it strongly and state things that adults can learn from kids, such as no limited imagination. No limited imagination creates new things so it could make one other patent that influences the whole global society like smart phone. New ideas will make our globe more convenient and productive.

      Did you watch the video? Aren't you feel very impressive when she talks about us, kid's goodness like no limited imagination? Yes, we can be as good as adults and even better than them. Human stores the knowledge by having experience so it could be not correct, too. But, to kids, we don't mind any knowledge cause we are new, so we can lead the things without thinking this case and that case. Even though we can have this powerful abilities, adults just ignore kids because they think that cause we have no experience, we will do bad at it. Actually, it is opposite, huh? It is so unfair to be ignored!

      I once had ignored by adults and even heard that I am too thoughtless and childish. When my father lost his wallet in the house, my father, mom, and brother just searched at the outside of living room. So, I told them to search the living room but my father said that he would see the wallet if it is in living room and scolded me that I am so thoughtless so I just searched the kitchen and father's desk. The surprising thing was that it was in the living room...My mom found it at the living room when she went to bathroom that are linked with living room. I felt furious because if we found at the living room what I suggested, we would find it fast but it was just fortunate that wallet appeared so I just be quiet for this. I still feel bad that he just ignored my thinking even if he searched the kitchen what my mom suggested!!!!
   
     In conclusion, I want to make sure one thing. Adults should not ignore what children said. Don't think it is just a childish imagination that are stupid! Thinking like that is the start of limited mind. To have a open mind and to respect everyone in the global society, let's listen to kids and try to learn the non limited mind from them!
